Welcome
Coaching & Training for
Caregivers and Professionals
Hi, and thanks so much for finding your way to The Connected Response.
Whether you're a parent navigating challenging behaviors, a therapist looking for practical tools, an educator supporting students, or simply someone wanting to better understand children, you're in the right place.
My goal is to make neuroscience simple, practical, and easy to apply in everyday life—so you leave with a deeper understanding of children and the confidence to support them through even the toughest moments.
I'm so excited you're here, and I can't wait to learn alongside you.
All Behavior Makes Sense
Hey there- My name is Lilliana Dunbar and I am the founder of The Connected Response. I am a Licensed Therapist that works with children, adolescents, and families. Prior to my work as a therapist, I was a behavioral specialist that provided 1:1 support in the home, school, and community! This company is a blend of all my roles, education, and passion!
Not sure where to start?
Come join my community on social media! I share free tips, brain-based parenting strategies, therapist resources, child development education, behind-the-scenes content, and practical ideas you can start using today.
Whether you're here to learn something new, find encouragement, or simply follow along, I'd love to connect with you.
For Caregivers
You are navigating big behaviors, emotional intensity, and moments that feel overwhelming. Together, we move beyond managing behavior and toward understanding what your child’s nervous system needs. I will teach you what is beneath the behaviors so you feel confident and empowered to respond!
For Professionals
You are working with children impacted by trauma, adoption, toxic stress, or complex developmental histories. I provide training and consultation that helps teams and individuals understand the brain beneath the behaviors. We will move away from compliance and towards connection (even with the hardest kiddos).
